Evaluation of bioactive compound fingerprints and contaminated heavy metals in food and natural products

Established methods from R&D research are validated according to ISO17025 guidelines and used as standardized techniques to generate accurate and reliable results for public services. For example, analytical methods for heavy metal contamination in food samples have been validated and applied to analyze levels of arsenic contamination in rice grains. Development of such standardized techniques will be useful for quality assessment of food and agricultural products in Thai market as well as those exported to foreign countries.
